1. Operator, licence and your contract
Rivo Casino is the trading name used for this service. Your contract is with Rivo Interactive Ltd, of Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan, Union of the Comoros, company number ALSI-182947 (the “Operator”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The service is operated under a licence issued by the Anjouan Gaming Commission, licence number ALSI-202412847-FI1.
These Terms form the entire agreement about your gambling account except for documents expressly incorporated by reference. A reference to “you” means the individual account holder. The contract starts when we accept your registration, although we may require verification before enabling deposits, wagering or withdrawals. Headings and summaries aid navigation but do not replace the operative wording. If a translated version is made available, the version designated by the Operator as controlling will apply to the extent permitted by law.
We provide a remote entertainment service, not financial advice, an investment product or a means of earning income. No communication about odds, jackpots, features or promotions guarantees a return. You are responsible for deciding whether gambling is lawful and appropriate for you.
2. Eligibility and permitted jurisdictions
You may register and play only if, at all relevant times, you:
- are at least 18 years old and have reached any higher minimum gambling age that applies where you are physically located;
- have legal capacity to enter a binding contract and act solely on your own behalf;
- are physically present in a territory from which we accept customers and remote gambling is lawful;
- are not self-excluded, prohibited by a regulator or court, or restricted under our safer-gambling controls;
- are not an employee, contractor or other connected person whose participation is prohibited by internal rules, game rules or applicable law; and
- use funds that belong to you and originate from a lawful source.
Availability of the website does not amount to an invitation in every jurisdiction. You must not use virtual private networks, proxy services, false location data or similar tools to disguise your location. We may block registrations, deposits or wagers from restricted locations and may request evidence of residence or current location. Where a legal restriction prevents us from accepting or paying a wager, we may void it and return the stake unless law, a regulator or an investigation requires a different treatment.
3. Registration and account security
One personal account
You may hold only one account unless we give written permission. Registration information must be complete, current and accurate, including your legal name, date of birth, residential address and contact details. Do not register on behalf of another person, transfer an account, or allow anyone else to use yours. Duplicate accounts may be restricted or closed; related transactions, bonuses and winnings may be reviewed and adjusted where the duplicate account involved abuse, deception or a breach of these Terms.
Credentials and device safety
Keep your password and any authentication codes confidential, use a unique strong password, secure your devices and sign out on shared equipment. Tell us immediately through the details in section 16 if credentials, a device or payment method may be compromised. We may temporarily lock the account while investigating. Subject to applicable consumer law, activity completed using valid credentials may be treated as authorised until you notify us; we remain responsible where loss results from our failure to use reasonable care or where the law does not permit responsibility to be transferred to you.
Review your balance and transaction history regularly. Report an unexplained entry promptly with enough information for us to investigate. Never disclose a password to anyone claiming to represent us; support personnel should not ask for it.
4. Identity, age and financial verification
We may perform checks before or after registration and throughout the relationship to verify age, identity, address, payment ownership, location, source of funds, source of wealth and eligibility. We may use documents, databases and specialist service providers as explained in the Privacy Policy. Checks may be required by law, licence conditions, fraud prevention, sanctions screening or safer-gambling duties.
You must provide clear, authentic and current information within a reasonable requested period. We may ask for photographic identification, proof of address, payment evidence or information explaining transactions and affordability. Send documents only through a channel we identify as secure. While checks are incomplete, we may limit account functions, decline a transaction, withhold a withdrawal or suspend play. A delay caused by proportionate verification is not a refusal to pay.
If information cannot be verified, appears altered, conflicts with other records or indicates illegality, we may close the account and handle funds as applicable law and regulatory directions require. We will not confiscate legitimate balances merely because routine verification is inconvenient; any deduction or withholding must have a contractual or legal basis.
5. Deposits, balances and withdrawals
| Stage | Core rule | Possible checks |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit | Use an accepted method held in your own name. | Ownership, source of funds and transaction risk. |
| Account balance | Funds are for gambling, not banking or transfer. | Unusual movement, chargebacks and account links. |
| Withdrawal | Return funds to you through an approved route. | Identity, payment ownership and open investigations. |
Deposits and account balances
Available methods, currencies, limits and any fees are shown in the cashier before you confirm a transaction. We do not extend credit. A deposit is credited only after we receive confirmation from the payment provider and may be reversed if recalled, charged back or credited in error. Third-party and business payment methods are not accepted unless expressly permitted and verified.
Your cash balance represents an amount owed by the Operator, subject to these Terms; it is not a bank account and does not earn interest. Do not deposit solely to transfer or withdraw funds without genuine play. We may reject or return deposits and may apply a fee disclosed in advance where permitted to cover an unusual payment cost, but we will not impose an undisclosed charge.
Withdrawals
You may request withdrawal of your withdrawable cash balance from the cashier. Bonus funds, unsettled wagers and funds subject to a lawful hold are not withdrawable. We will process valid requests without undue delay after required checks. The receiving bank or provider may add processing time outside our control. Where practical and lawful, funds are returned to the method used to deposit; an alternative method may require further verification.
We may pause a withdrawal to investigate suspected fraud, money laundering, account takeover, prohibited conduct, payment dispute, manifest error or a legal obligation. We will communicate what we reasonably can without compromising security or a legal restriction. Tax reporting and payment are your responsibility unless the law requires us to deduct or report an amount.
6. Casino games, wagers and technical errors
A wager is accepted only when recorded by our central system and shown as accepted in your account history. A request, animation, “spin” display or interrupted message does not itself prove acceptance. Game rules, paytables, return-to-player information and stake limits displayed in the interface form part of these Terms. You are responsible for checking the stake, selection and game before confirming.
Random-number-generated results are determined by the certified game system, not by the visual animation on your device. For live games, the applicable rules explain how misdeals, disconnections and dealer errors are handled. We may suspend a game for maintenance, integrity or security reasons and may impose reasonable stake or payout limits prospectively.
Interruptions and manifest errors
If your connection fails after a wager is accepted, the wager generally stands and settles according to the recorded result. Check account history before attempting the wager again. Where a system, pricing, paytable or settlement error is obvious to a reasonable customer, or a malfunction creates an outcome that could not properly have been offered, we may correct the record and restore the parties as nearly as possible to their pre-error position. We will not label an ordinary losing commercial decision as an error. Corrections will be proportionate, documented and subject to your right to complain.
7. Bonuses, free bets and promotional play
Participation is optional. Each offer may have eligibility, opt-in, minimum deposit, game or market contribution, wagering, expiry, stake, payment-method and maximum conversion rules presented before acceptance. Read those rules first. Unless an offer expressly states otherwise, bonuses have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn until its conditions are met.
- One offer may be limited to one person, household, address, device or payment source.
- Excluded games, markets or wager patterns do not contribute to qualifying play.
- Withdrawing or cancelling participation may remove remaining bonus funds and linked winnings.
- Expiry and maximum-stake rules must be conspicuous in the applicable promotion terms.
We may withhold a bonus or associated winnings where evidence shows collusion, multiple-accounting, identity manipulation, low-risk offsetting, deliberately delayed game rounds, exploitation of an error or another strategy whose principal purpose is to defeat clearly stated offer rules. We will not confiscate an unrelated cash balance without a separate contractual or legal basis. A promotion may be changed or withdrawn prospectively, but accepted and completed qualifying activity will be treated under the terms presented when you joined unless law requires otherwise.
8. Sportsbook acceptance and settlement
Sports wagers are governed by these Terms and the market rules available with the event. Odds may change until acceptance. Your bet receipt identifies the accepted selection, odds, stake and potential return; inspect it promptly. Unless the market rules say otherwise, settlement uses the official result declared by the relevant governing body at the end of the event or specified settlement period. Later disqualifications, appeals or statistical amendments may not alter settlement.
| Event | General approach |
|---|---|
| Postponed or abandoned | Apply the sport and market-specific completion rule. |
| Non-runner or withdrawal | Void or adjust only as the published market rule provides. |
| Dead heat | Reduce settlement proportionately under the dead-heat rule. |
| Obvious pricing error | Correct or void fairly under the manifest-error clause. |
Cash-out is available only when offered and completed on our system; displayed values may change or disappear before confirmation. We may delay settlement while awaiting a reliable official result or investigating integrity concerns. If an event is suspected of manipulation, we may cooperate with sports governing bodies, integrity monitors and authorities and handle affected wagers as law and published rules permit.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the service to:
- commit fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion or any unlawful act;
- use another person’s identity, account, funds or payment instrument;
- collude, share hidden information, fix an event or manipulate a market or game;
- deploy bots, scripts, scraping, automated betting, artificial intelligence or external assistance where the product rules prohibit it;
- exploit a vulnerability, latency, incorrect price, malfunction or confidential information, or continue after becoming aware of an error;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, introduce malicious code into or bypass access controls protecting the service;
- harass staff or other customers, publish unlawful material or impersonate us; or
- sell, transfer, fund or acquire an account or its balance.
We may use proportionate technical and transactional monitoring to identify these activities. An investigation will consider relevant evidence and give you a fair opportunity to provide information where lawful and practical. Remedies may include rejecting or voiding affected wagers, removing improperly obtained benefits, recovering direct losses, restricting features and closing the account. Remedies will be limited to what the contract and applicable law permit.
10. Suspension, account closure and dormant balances
Closure by you
You may ask support to close your account at any time. Tell us if the request is for safer-gambling reasons so that the appropriate restriction, rather than an ordinary commercial closure, can be applied. Subject to verification, unsettled wagers and lawful holds, we will return the remaining withdrawable cash balance. Closing an account does not cancel rights or obligations already accrued.
Restriction or closure by us
We may restrict or suspend an account while investigating security, eligibility, verification, payment, integrity, safer-gambling or legal concerns. We may close an account on reasonable notice for a commercial reason, or immediately for a serious breach, illegality, risk of harm or regulatory direction. We will provide reasons to the extent permitted and explain the treatment of open wagers and funds. A balance is not forfeited merely because we end the relationship.
If an account is inactive, we may contact you and apply only a dormant-account process that was clearly disclosed and is lawful. Before any fee is charged, its amount, timing and means of avoiding it must be communicated. You retain the right to claim a legitimate balance, subject to verification and any applicable legal limitation or mandatory treatment of unclaimed funds.
11. Responsible gambling and account controls
Gambling involves the risk of losing money. Set a budget and time limit before play, never chase losses, and do not gamble with money needed for essential expenses. We may provide deposit or loss limits, reality checks, time-outs, product blocks and self-exclusion. The availability and operation of each tool is explained on our Responsible Gambling page.
A request for self-exclusion or another safety restriction will be implemented in accordance with applicable requirements. You must not attempt to evade a restriction by opening another account or changing details. We will take reasonable steps to identify linked accounts, but you should also use device, banking and independent blocking tools. The applicable external programme is Account self-exclusion via Rivo Casino customer support.
We may interact with you, request information, set restrictions or suspend access when activity indicates potential harm. These interventions do not guarantee that losses will be prevented and do not replace your own decisions, but nothing in these Terms excludes a duty we owe under applicable law or licence conditions.
12. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, contact customer support first with your username, relevant transaction or wager references, dates and the outcome you seek. Do not send passwords or unnecessary financial information by ordinary email. We will acknowledge, investigate and respond under the complaints procedure required by our applicable licence.
- Submit the complaint to complaints@rivocasino.org.uk.
- Allow us to investigate and provide any reasonably requested evidence.
- Request escalation if you disagree with the initial response.
- After our final response or the applicable internal deadline, refer an eligible unresolved dispute to Anjouan Gaming Commission Dispute Resolution Unit.
Alternative dispute resolution may be available only for particular gambling disputes and does not prevent either party from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Complaints about data protection may also be directed to Anjouan Gaming Commission, as described in the Privacy Policy. Keep copies of communications and account records relevant to your complaint.
13. Liability and service availability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that rule, each party is responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of its breach or failure to use reasonable care.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, supplier failure, communications disruption, cyber incident, force majeure or an event outside reasonable control. We will use reasonable care in providing the service and restoring access, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We are not responsible for your device, connection, third-party software or a failure to protect credentials, except to the extent our act or omission caused the loss.
We do not accept liability for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss of business opportunity or loss arising from use of the service for a commercial purpose where exclusion is permitted by law. Where required by applicable consumer law, liability may be limited to the amount paid for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim arose, except where such limitation is not permitted.
14. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website, software, design, databases, text, graphics, audio, video, trade marks and game content are owned by or licensed to the Operator and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service for personal, non-commercial gambling in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, frame, mirror, scrape, decompile or create derivative works from protected material except where mandatory law expressly allows it. You may link to public pages fairly and lawfully, provided the link does not imply endorsement. Trade marks and branding may not be used without the relevant owner’s prior written permission.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms to reflect law, regulatory guidance, security needs, product operation, technology or legitimate business requirements. The current version, effective date and review date appear near the top of this page. For a material change, we will give reasonable advance notice by an appropriate channel and summarise the change, unless immediate action is required by law, a regulator or an urgent security issue.
Changes apply prospectively from the stated date. They will not be used to rewrite the result of a wager already settled or unfairly remove an accrued right. If you do not accept a material change, stop using the service and request closure before it takes effect. Continued use after effective notice constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Governing law, notices and contact
These Terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by Laws of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of the Comoros. That provision must not deprive you of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law of your residence. The competent forum is the courts of Anjouan, Union of the Comoros, unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise. Disputes may also be referred to the Anjouan Gaming Commission Dispute Resolution Unit.
If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or removed only to the extent necessary; the remainder continues in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer the agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a lawful reorganisation or business transfer if your rights are not materially reduced and required notice is given.
